We also slept better last night in Lat Krabang.
Today we are going to
Haad Chao Lao.
Yesterday we agreed to depart between ten and eleven o'clock.
Because there still has to be vacuumed, it becomes half past eleven.
It is the first time this trip that Tom drives a car in Thailand.
Getting used to traffic gets very fast, after 10 minutes it already feels very familiar.
Getting used to the car takes a bit longer, about a hundred kilometers, even if it is not
the first time that we drive this car.
We drive on the Motorway to Chonburi, and luckily there is not that much traffic.
Then we follow a fairly busy road towards Bang Bueng.
We are then about 75 kilometers on the road.
From Bang Bueng we follow a good road to Klaeng and further towards Chanthaburi.
On the way we stop to drink coffee and eat something.
We find the exit to Haad Chao Lao easy and we arrive at three o'clock.
We first look at the resort where we have already been on our previous trip, the
Hadsaithong Resort.
There are rooms available, and during our
previous trip we liked this resort.
We take the only room with a sea view for three nights, 3000 Thb (88 Euro) per night,
including breakfast.
The resort seems to be quite full, a large group of teachers from a university in Surin.
When we have unpacked we take a walk on the beach, and then we eat and drink something in
the restaurant of the resort.
There is a large group in the resort, but they eat somewhere else, and there are also a few
single guests.
The tide comes up during dinner, and this is accompanied by quite high waves, unexpected
because one or two hours earlier the water was still mirror smooth.
The rest of the evening we sit on our terrace watching the sunset, and very strange fruits
or something in the tree on the terrace.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
